#### Dr. Rachel Sawires

Naturopathic Doctor & Certified Bowen Therapist

I dreamed of becoming a doctor to help others, but it wasn’t until my mother’s breast cancer diagnosis that I discovered naturopathic medicine. This approach values treating the whole person and finding the root cause of conditions to guide patients through the self-healing process. Through naturopathic medicine, I learned to prioritise the unique needs of each individual patient, rather than just focusing on the treatment of their symptoms. My mission as a naturopath is to help assist and to see my patients make empowered choices that improve both their health and their quality of life. In order to do this, I partner with patients and dive deeper into their health to help identify and remove barriers to wellness. I provide patients with recommendations that we are both confident they can adhere to. I am here to not only guide and educate you, but to inspire you through this exciting journey of reconnecting to yourself.

- Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences (CCNM)

- Doctor of Naturopathy degree (SFU)

- Certification in Facial Rejuvenation and Cosmetic Acupuncture

- Bowen Practitioner Certification coming July 2023

- IV Certification and Prescribing license coming January 2024
